Well, as some of you know a short time ago I began my career with the US Marshal's. Upon events that took place today and prior, it has been decided that I will no longer continue on my career as a Marshal. This decision has been based on certain reasons/events both in and out of my control.

Everything that occurred did so basically on a political level and nothing physical. In a short time I will resume my job as a Florida Highway Patrol State Trooper. I can honestly say that I am not upset, and I look forward to starting with FHP again.

I thank everyone for their support.

Um... wow... sorry to hear that.

I appreciated the time you took to write about your experience... and your obvious enthusiasm for the job.

I hope that soon you will have another opportunity for the position, if that is something you would want to do again.

Bob, I thank you for your response. I love my job more than anything and I will value it everyday. What happened with the Marshal's was for the best. What happened was based on my own decision and those of the Marshal's. As I said before, I am excited to return back to FHP and serve the people most close to home. I can honestly say thats where I belong.

Thanks to you as well. I can honestly say that this is what I want to do/need to be. And don't worry, I can give you more of a down low now than before... only because things are not so hush hush with the state.

I will be able to share the funny ones that people come up with why they were speeding and all that...

Hahah thanks man. Don't worry, the stories will continue. And yes, your grandmother is right. Oh and South Florida is going down.... jk. I miss my radar spots and the same people I get everytime. There will be more stories now because there is more that goes on daily than with the Marshal's.

Isn't it interesting how one direct challenge like that can make you think twice about where you want to head down life's road? I've seen that fork before..in different colors and there's nothing wrong with picking the silver fork instead of the gold forked road..each has it's positives and negatives...you know what you like to do and what your good at and i'm pretty darn confident, simply because you gave this opportunity the best shot you had, that you'll enjoy going back even more than when you left it!!

I'm a little confused as to your tenure with USMS. I haven't seen an opening for an 1811 position for years. What hiring authority were you hired under? As someone familiar with federal law enforcement, I find your rapid progression from newly hired to participating in raids very questionable.

Sorry to hear the apple was sour!!!!! Oh well, back to the oranges!! Well, hopefully, I'll pull up next to your hiding spot off I-95 and ask directions, while having a sign on my car that says, SPEED TRAP!! SLOW DOWN !!!

Oh and I love Reno 911 and Lt. Dangle, the man is an idiot but hilarious!!!!

Thanks again to everyone. Things are back to normal and I am out on the road. I can honestly say nothing has changed. On my first day back I was thinking, "Maybe the world changed and people are now nice"
