Self-published, yes - so it doesn't really count. But thanks for the congrats, CD! Amber - I insist on believing that the right marketing can turn it from self-published into "real" published. At least, I believe that now. We'll see what happens after I market my butt off and nothing happens.  Good luck to you with yours!

I had a friend self-publish a book on medical practice management. It was the top seller for the topic on Amazon for over a year. Sometimes self-publishing gets your foot in the door and your name on the street. Best of luck  |

Congrats! I told my wife about it earlier tonight over dinner. As a military wife she is interested in reading when it becomes available on say amazon or in a local books a million or what not. |

I would like to extend some congrats over your way. Writting a book is something I wouldn't mind doing...but talk about a daunting task. Eek! Is the publisher paying decent? I heard from a guy that wrote some books that for the most part you get a few percent of overall sales. Hope you beat out the Potter chick.
