Well, HB46Bubba and I flew down to BWG from I69 yesterday for my ATP interview with Kevin. All went great and a big THANX and cold beer go to HB for the company on the trip. We flew down in a 2006 C182T/G with the G1000 glass cockpit or as Cessna calls it the Nav 3 package. I have to say that a/c is SWEET! Ground track on the way home was 175kts! WOOOOHOOO!Weebee cruizen! At BWG, ATP had 2 Seminoles and 1 instructor as the 2nd instructor had moved on. Kevin has an interview with Pinacle in JAX on Mon so he is pumped for that. More than likley there will be two new instructors soon at BWG. The quiz was 25 questions of very basic ppl knowledge, oral over airspace and sectional and the simulator flight skills demonstration. The FTD at BWG is in need of help. No video screen, when making right turns, a/c goes into uncommanded climb and roll. So..... the skills demo was a challenge, but Kevin was great and we worked through it together. So as it stands right now, Ima GO at this station and just waiting on the phone call from James in JAX for the final oral over the phone and setting the class date. Getting pumped here myself! Planning on a Jul-Aug start date so I still have a wait ahead of me, but progress is being made. The next few months will fly by and give me time to knock out all my written exams. Thats all pholks! Hope the info helps and pm me if anyone has particular questions.

It's OFFICIAL! Spoke with James yesterday and I've been accepted into the ACCP program begining Jul-Aug this year! Wooo Hooo! Now the waiting begins....and I hate waiting.... It will give me lots of time to knock out all the written exams that I can so it won't be idle time and that will make it go by faster. Thanks to all who have provided advice and mentoring along the way so far and I look forward to it as this journey continues.

Congrats Frank! They had to give it to you especially since you had to use that P.O.S. AST 300 sim! I guess you're on your way back to Iraq today. Had a blast going down to BWG in that sweet 182. Though your instructor at Sporty's didn't look to happy when I asked about doing an IPC. I was the knob turner and button pusher. I also did the radio call on the way back for flight following. CRM baby!
