Default Women in Aviation Magazine!!

This is not supposed to be a post about my bragging skills, but I am going to brag because....

My girlfriend has 3 pages dedicated to her in the new issue of Women in Aviation magazine! Two of the pages are full page pictures that I took when she was in front of, or flying, my skyhawk! I knew they were good pictures, she made sure her clothes matched the airplane and everything but damn.

There is also a one page story on her, to learn more you're going to have to find the magazine, but if you do, remember that we have been happily together for 2 years now....so back off :-)

ok I've never attached a pic before, I just spent 10 mins with photoshop getting this into the right format (RAW is a pain in the butt). Oh and I actually havent seen magazine yet, just told about it over the phone. I think these are the two pictures though.

I suppose I should also reveal that the reason she's in the magazine is because she is Miss Vermont, and will be competing in the upcoming miss america pagent, but thats for another thread.

I always wondered what hotels the crews are put up in on their BTV overnights. I'm over there alot, I'd offer to buy you a beer but you're probably only there for 7 hours.

We get long ones quite a bit...

I think ours is a hampton inn near a restaurant that has a lighthouse on top of it in the same parking lot.

Yeah i missed that step...

You can see my reflection in her glasses pretty clearly. I'm also pissed I forgot to take the headsets off the dash, oh well.

Bob the hampton inn isnt a bad place, within walking distance of alot of stuff (by vermont standards anyway). I'll pm you next time I'm going to be in BTV for awhile.

Burlington is such a great overnight. I am a big fan of the food and drinks at Ri Ra's, and Church Street (that is the correct name, right?) is awesome in the summer! Last long overnight there was a blast. Really good music at Nectar that night. By far an overnight with many, many memories... for many reasons.

Gotta love the hippy chicks, or at least the ones that shower

UVM in burlington was rated the top party school for "pot smoking, birkenstock wearing, tree hugging hippies"!! Love the free love

Nectars is fun (thats where Phish got their start), but I always goto the Vermont Pub and Brewery (just down the hill from church street) then get the samplers and attempt to try every microbrew on tap...
