| Yes, today is my last day as a MAG pilot. I start class at my new employer (to be named later) on January 3. Maybe Doug and I can get the blog figured out between now and then so I can share some pictures of my new life. After 7 years as a MAG employee, I will NOT miss the company. I will greatly miss the people with whom I've worked. It's crazy how much a job can shape your life. On December 20, 1999, I was offered a newhire class with Air Midwest that started on January 4, 2000. My, OH MY, how the industry has changed. My oh my how I have changed. Seven years ago, I never would have known that a Clarksburg, WV, even existed. Seven years ago, I had never flown with an autopilot (now I cry on the rare occasion that it's inop). I've seen so many places, lived in so many places... all thanks to this job. Plus, I met my fiancee, so I have that going for me (and Mesa to thank). I am leaving the Part 121 world for awhile. The new company is small, and operates like CShares or NetJets. I'm ready for a change, and ready for a job that will renew my love for this job. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! |

| Old Skool | Speaking of Clarksburg, we can't even deadhead out anymore (it used to be a triple deadhead CKB-PIT-CLT/PHL/DCA-DAY). Now that Air Midwest lost the EAS contract we have to take a 2 hour cab ride to PIT to get home. I dropped a trip last week and wouldn't you know it, my captain had a jetway eat the main cabin door in MEM and had to repo there to get it fixed. It took 3 cabs (engine fire, flat tire) and 5 hours to get to PIT. |

| Mesa is the same way. If an aircraft isn't ready to come out, or one isn't going in, it's a cab ride to PIT. |

| Agent Smith | Congrats bro! That's kinda how I felt when I got the "ER" bid because I was bored, burned out and eww, domestic ops just starts to leave a funny smell in your epidermis after so many years.

| Old Skool | Bog can you walk my resume in? I've got 700 hours and I've already got a 135 PC! (Kind of a complicated story)

| How did you pull that one off? I know I'm not the smartest guy but 700 is a whole lot less than 1300. |
