Default Snowed In Vegas

I woke up this morning for work and there was snow on the ground here in Vegas (just a dusting). Tonight the temps will drop to 28 and possible snow flurries again. What's going on? The end is near

This is the only good time to be in Charleston... the other times of the year it's a million degrees and raining...

The snow is long gone but still in the mountains. I hear it may snow a bit tonight. Its getting cloudy now. Yes hell has frozen over. The temp has been below freezing everynight this week.

When I lived in Vegas i saw snow many times. It was common to happen every couple years out in the Lakes and Summerlin. I was on the road though when it actually stuck on the strip(I believe that was 2003 or 2004, but was just before I left Vegas). My parents and sis showed me pictures though.

I remember it snowed 2 times on the flightline @ Nellis in 2001 . Mt Charleston was beautiful in the winter time.

Yeah snow in vegas though rare is not uncommon. I mean every year my house in Henderson gets a good dusting but this time we recieved about a half a foot to a foot. And I am stuck in the ice box of north dakota and missed all the white stuff. darn!!!!!

note: there is no snow in GFK ND so in essence its a cold brown flat land.
