| Junior Member | Well, I finally did my first solo this past Tuesday with a total of 9.8 hours. Yes, things are moving extremely fast, but I was ready! Check out the video of my touch and go. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oID=1523883197 If that doesn't work, go to www.myspace.com/hudsonracing01 and click play on the video. Woohoo, 1 step closer! =)

| Nice job!! Like they said, you'll remember the details of your first solo for many years. Whereas the memories of many other flights just kind of fade away. Or maybe I'm just getting senile ![]() |

| I don't think the "PTS" says anything about training. That is up to the instructor. I did three full-stop/taxi-backs and that is what I made all my students do. I always felt they would be too nervous to have so much to do in a touch-and-go (or maybe I just needed a few seconds to let my heart start beating between landings!!!!!!!!!!). |

| I know when I had my first solo, I took off and looked over at the empty seat to my right. Was kind of scarey and exciting at the same time. Something you will always remember. CONGRATS MAN! |

| Junior Member | Haha, thanks everyone! They were touch-and-goes. I was actually releived they were touch and goes. As soon as ya land and put the flaps up and hit full power, for me it was the best thing I could to sooth the poundin heart! haha. I did exactly that dc! I took off and immediately looked to my right and saw the seat empty and that is when it really hit me. Heart started poundin alittle more after that.. haha, piece of cake though. Glad you guys enjoyed the video. Take care, Tyler
