| Nothing can stop me! Woo hoo! I finally did it. Passed my multi commercial add-on this afternoon. The weather sucked all across the upper midwest today, but that didn't stop me. I found an examiner in clear air almost 300 nautical miles away from home and flew the Aztec over to him, in southern Illinois.
Everything went great...I really nailed it. Here's the full details, posted in Checkride Central: http://forums.jetcareers.com/showthr...525#post476525 |

I heard he's given more checkrides than any other examiner in the country. Truth or urban legend, I don't know, but he's supposed to be really good. |

Originally Posted by flyguy969 Wow now that is someone who is motivated. How hard was the test? | In my opinion, not very hard. In fact, now that I think about it, it was probably the easyist (sp?) checkride I've taken. After it was over, I felt like I had really nailed it, flown really well and handled everything just like I should have.
But I'm sort of taking this at a different point in my flying career compared to most people. A lot of people do this ride in the 200-300 hour window of their training. I'm up at 950 TT now. I've been fortunate enough to fly in all different parts of the country, instruct a lot, take checkrides from five different examiners, etc. Those things all helped to give me a broader view of flying in general. I was very relaxed and confident going in to this ride. More so than any other checkride I've taken, I'd say.
So on this ride, it was a combination of my own mental mindset, my instructor's good training, and a nice examiner that made everything go smoothly. |

| Re: Nothing can stop me! Nice job man. The ME certificate surely makes it feel like you're flying a real airplane now. I remember my ride, and like you said, I thought it was a piece of cake. |
