Default Made It

Well...I can now say I'm officially in Oklahoma City. I left Korea on 1 Oct and we rolled into OK on 22 Oct. I stopped in Anchorage to pack up the house and we (me, wife, and 2 dogs) hit the road heading south. We opted to take the ferry from Alaska to Washington to bypass the drive on the ALCAN--already made that drive 3 times and didn't need to do it again. It was an uneventful trip and we made it safely. We bought a new house (our first home) and things are going good. I have computer access now so I can get back on JC to see what has been going on. Seems I missed a great NJC 2006, but the wife and I are already planning on next years NJC now that we are back in the lower 48 and closer to Vegas. I need to get out and scout out the area here in OK City for flying (renting) opportunities so I can get back in the air. Just wanted to drop in as I've been getting caught up on the happenings of JC. See ya'll around the website--laters

Welcome home, Brother. And, thank you for having the intestinal fortitude to do what others are scared to. You help make America what it is.

Brian, that means you came through Haines(or Skagway) and didnt say anything? I am dissapointed .

Oh, and I am sorry you had to leave Alaska for the Zoo, or what we call the Lower 48.

Thanks MTSU/MOXIE.....
ASPILOT, I did stop in Haines to catch the ferry. It was a hectic couple of weeks just coming back from Korea and having to pack up the house for the move. It was a short notice move for us and had a buttload of things to do. Sorry for not droppin' a line.
Nope DDog...not an OKIE. I would still claim to be a TX'n befor OKIE
:-)....shhh, don't tell them that.
