Default Done w/ XJT training

So I officially have my SIC Type rating in a EMB-145!! Finished my time in Houston last week, and now I am waiting for IOE!! Scary to think that the first time I will sit in the actually cockpit will be with passengers in the back! Wish me luck!!

Yeah...make sure you mention that in your preflight announcement. And make sure you are already taxied away from the gate and about to position and hold

Congrats! I bet it feels good.

So, n00b question. What are you being paid while you wait for your IOE? And what usually happens during this waiting period? Sit at home w/ pay; until they call you to report with a date for IOE?

He'll be paid his monthly guarantee... if it takes them a month to get to his IOE... then he's getting paid to nap on his own couch every day!

did you get your pick of base ? i'd imagine they would ask/tell you the base after you finish training?
