Default Finally!

I FINALLY had my training evaluation with Skyway today. I interviewed like 3 weeks ago and didn't get to meet with their training department. To make a long story short, after one hour and a short training exercise, I was offered the November 20 training date! I can't wait! I thought I was gonna get turned down because they started to tell me how to get back to the lobby but said to wait there. After 10 minutes of waiting they came down and gave me the great news.

It's for the Beech 1900

Sweet! Not to say the 1900 isn't an awesome airplane, but are you looking to move to the 328 eventually? Is that going to be possible, or are they getting rid of the 328's? It's one of my favorite airplanes....I wish it was more widely used now

They're actually trying to get rid of the 1900s and get more jets. I should be in the jet in not too long. But I'm excited about the Beech, I used to fuel those puppies. Always wanted to try my hand at flying em.

I was at Airnet until September. I was no longer at Airnet shortly after I started transition training into one of 2 new aircraft for a new run I bid on. You'll have to fill in the juicy details with your imagination. Long story short, I think Airnet is a great company, especially for pilots who want to hone their IFR skills. I met so many cool people and made more friends there than I could have imagined.

I applied at Skyway because I grew up near milwaukee and have been in the WI ANG there for the last 6 years. I just signed up for another 6 years, so I'm not ready to give that up just quite yet. While being at Skyway, I'll be able to participate in more military activities than just Drill Weekend on my days off. I'm super excited. This will be my introduction to 121 flying and I've always been fascinated with the airlines, so I know I'm going to at least enjoy learning new things.
