| Well we made it, just barely! It was an interesting trip. We left on Wednesday afternoon and made it only over a 100 miles before the car's transmission took a crap. We waited three hours for the tow truck to tow the car to Flagstaff. We stayed the night in Flag an Ford made us wait till 4 PM to twell us that the car was screwed and wouldn't bew fixed till this week. So we moved stuff around and jammed what we could in the U-haul trailer and we headed on to stay the night at Nona's parents house in NM with out the car. We picked up my 4 yrs old and it was a tight sqeeze in the pickup. We made it to our house in Erlanger on Sunday afternoon. I've been in indoc since Monday. I got my old employee number back. I've run into several accquaintences. Very impressed with Comair's SOCC. It looks like an ATC facility. Mesa's looks like a telemarketing setup. Well my car is fixed and still in Flagstaff, so I'm trying to figure out how and when i can get my car. I'm hoping to have Friday off, so I can try to fly out and drive it back. |

| Thanks Pat, glad to hear that your China operation is growing and going well. DCA lost out when they let you go. I've seen a handfull of people your efforts and training have helped to get hired here at Comair. I've run into three of my ex instructors from DCA, just in the two weeks I've been here. Well I flew back to Flagstaff on Friday to retrieve my car and drove all the way across country for the second time in less than a week. Made better time without the wife and kids. It's good to be back at Comair. Definitly a better organized comapny than Mesa. Mesa's SOCC looks like a nickel and dime telemarketing center. Comair's looks like an ATC facililty, but better lit. The workload and stress level are extremely small comapred with Mesa. I wanted to strangle people on more than several occassions at Mesa. We've gotten most everything unpacked and are looking forward to getting the rest of our stuff from storage in Orlando to make it a complete full house. (I'm tired of sitting on the floor to use the computer!) |

| Old Skool | I might be in CVG for a week in January for another training session. I'll have to hit you guys up If I am out there. Congrats on the move back to Comair. Are You a dispatcher? It will be nice once the uncertanty with the labor contracts is over, hopefully for the better for all of us employees.

| No, I'm an AOG controller. I was leary when I got here about labor negotiations, but we got agreements with the FA, and the MX employees, so I hope the ALPA and the company can come to an agreement soon, so that we can finally be restructured and get of DL's hit list. I got TUE-THU off, so if your in town for training hit me up or if you want to check out the SOCC come on down. I'll PM my comapany e-mail. |
