I don't believe any interviewed successfully here. Not that it means anything, but it might. Who knows. Was it them? Was it their flying background? I dunno. We do have a lot of ex-ACA guys here. I'm personally glad I had 1500+ PIC and 250+ multi PIC when hired. Contrary to popular belief, I fly <60 hours/month at an airline but did 85+ while instructing. Pretty significant when you've got low time. Not to mention the guys on reserve are lucky to fly 10-15 hours/month here. Might be different at TSA though. Congrats! The airline lifestyle isn't what it's cracked up to be at $24/hr...

Keep in mind you generally get paid for 75 hours/month at a regional, especially in a slow moving company with a lot of bottom attrition like TSA (ie reserve). While CFI'ing I only made $16/hr but billed 150+ hours/month.

I played "airline snob" when I had your times, and all I ended up with was a couple more years of duel given. It all worked out for me because I wanted to live in certain locations, but if you are single and flexible, heck ya take it.

Are they including GoJets in that figure, though? I'd imagine from a management point of view, hiring new guys into GoJets would be a better deal for growth while only hiring enough into TSA to cover attrition. With GoJets whipsawing, I wouldn't imagine much growth potential at TSA.
