Congrats!!! Like the others, I remember when you posted getting hired at Chicago Express too.

Is the type rating the same for the 135 & 145? Meaning will you be flying both? Enjoy upgrade. Since you have been in the equipment for years, I'm sure it will be less stressful than you are expecting. (At least that's how it was for me.)

Not that i know exactly too much, but i was once told they are typed the same with some differences training?

The Type is for the EMB145... He will fly both planes on any given day. Same Type for both. Systems are practically identical... different weights, size, engine (not that different), and some smaller onboard equipment differences... that's about it.

That's what I thought. Same as the RJ 200 - 700 & 900. Same type but differences training for each is required.

Hey all, thanks!

I've been studying a lot in my time off, so I've been distancing myself from the computer even more than I had previously. Hence why I'm not on the boards much at all lately. I only get on like twice a week, and it's overwhelming the amount of posts there are!! I can't keep up!!

I feel bad that I haven't been able to keep in touch with everyone as much as I hoped. Hopefully that will change when I get back on reserve.
