it was one of them. i think it was one of slushies posts from about a month ago. seems like a good place.

i'm pretty excited, but have insta-stress to tie things up here. the g/f is pretty p.o.ed since she has to stay behind but putting on the happy face for me.

heh heh heh. tell you when i get there?

all i know is it will pay the bills and the pilots i talked to seem cool. i would've taken a caravan job 6 mo in NY 6 mo in carribean @ $25k but that wouldn't cover the school loans & bills.

the work is flying 182s, 206s & 210's with a pulse ox system for the x-c travel to get to 25,000 (hope the heater works) all over the us and canada. occasionally there will be co-piloting a pilatus and king air 90 in europe and china. that's cool with me.

Im working for a survey company too. We fly the 210, Duchess and Partenavia Observers. Be prepared to be on the road for long stretches of time. In my last two months I was on for 32 days, off for 5, and back on for 23. Crazy! But its a lot of fun!

If thats what the company told you, then I would expect that. My company told us to expect 3 weeks on and a week off, as a general rule. However, in July, I only had one 3 day trip, and I was off the rest of the month.

What are your times? Do you know if they are still hiring? San Antonio is great....shoot me a message and I can give you my cell number. I can tell where to live, where to avoid, and pretty much answer any questions you might have about San Antonio.
