| www.n3250p.com I was kinda scared on the first takeoff since I hadn't flown light twins since 87. They sure make a racket...whaa whaa whaa. Started in KLIT, stopped for gas in Burlington, KS and overnight in KBFF. Stay at the Candlelight Inn. They have a free car at the airport for you and it's a cool homey place with an artery clogging free breakfast. Made it from KBFF to northern Idaho non-stop the next day. I'm thinking I can get 130 knots out of it and about 14gph above 10K. Will get an autofuel STC, fuel totalizer, and vortex generators fairly soon. |

| The swanky dash cost about $1200. It's got individual lights for each instrument as part of the panel. |

| "Cool, starting a flight school????" Nope, though I guess you could with a twin, a 152, and a Luscombe. I'm putting four new cylinders on the 152, which will complete the Sparrowhawk mod, and will sell it. I maybe do some timebuilding stuff with the Geronimo but no formal instruction or rental. Insurance would kill you if the student didn't... |

| Wow, nice airplane.... I wonder what operating costs would be for 20 hours per month of flying it.

| Love it!!! Great interior, I am just curious how much does it cost to maintain a plane like that monthly. |

| thats a nice lookin apache! It sure beats the rental one I'm flyin now. Its only got 150 hp per side and leaks about a half a quart of oil out the right engine each flight. |

| Old Skool | Cool, if all goes according to plan I will be doing my PPL training out of Palmer this spring, at Mustang Air.

| Heh, that Apache is MUCH nicer than the one I did all my training in. I was wondering how the single engine performance is on the Geronimo conversion? I trained in a 56' with 150hp engines, and it wasn't too bad as light twins go... Your Apache looks like a slick little Aztec. Best of luck with the new plane. |

| I don't know what the single engine performance will be like. Will try to find out next week. Insurance costs $2200K. Autofuel maybe $50/hr. Maintenance and engine reserve? I'm sure it will be staggering... |
