Hello to all

A big hello to all on these forms.

I have been blessed to find this wonderful resource and have "lived" on these pages for the past month. I am a new aspiring pilot with 0 hours and lots of drive. I just completed my 1st class medical and registration to UVSC and have my first discovery flight next Friday.

I also would like to say a big WHAT UP? to everyone in the DFW area. I live in Arlington and look forward to meeting you guys.

Welcome to the forum, Mike!! Have fun, and ask lots of questions - that's the only way to learn!!

Oh, and watch out for the "We've already discussed that" people. They're just lazy, and want to sound important!

Thanks everyone. My Discovery flight is with Skymates, 4 days and counting. Someone here mentioned the Spurs, I will not name names because I would hate to make them feel bad but go Mavs.

I read another post about local BBQ, I guess I will have to host a little cook out here in Arlington.........ummmm can anyone say ribs and beer?

BTW MTSU, I spent some of my youth in Nash. TN and spent most of my summers in Carson City. Have family all over the great state of TN. As my uncle would say "TX would not be if it was not for TN".
