Default Stalls yesterday

What a perfect day for flying in Vegas yesterday. My instructor had me do power on and off stalls. It was pretty stomach turning at first when he demonstrated then even more so when he had me do them. All on all I got them right away. We also touched up on slow speed flight. I have the habit of looking at my instruments when I should be looking out of the window to focus on a point and maintain alt and heading. To stop me from doing this he slapped some post its on my instruments . I finally got it down and was able to control the airplanes heading using only rudder and little back/forward pressure.Only four more lessons until my first solo. Next week is crosswind landings and stall reviews. Loving it, just thought I would share

Thanks for sharing. I feel your excitement! I don't know when it will happen but I should be soloing soon as well. I also have to do a stage check this week which make me kinda nervous but I'm sure I'll do fine. Will just be wird flying with another instructor. Good luck man!
