| I got the question and answer section completed, passed, etc. Basically, it was two hours of going over the ASA guide with a couple of random things thrown in (ex. high alt airport ops [full throttle run-up, adjust mixture for peak RPM], guestimate of GPH [horsepower/20]). The only hitch today was the winds being at 25 kts, with a peak gust of 38 kts so I got one of those nifty letters of discontinuance. What stinks is that the weather is gonna be crappy for the rest of the week. This is bad because I might be finishing this thing over spring break. Sounded like he wanted to go fishing over the break... think I should wait until after break? ![]()

| Old Skool | Well congrats!....sort of.... j/k Good job on getting the oral done. It does suck when you have to wait for the flying, but hey, at least you can take advantage of the extra time to work on something you might've been weak on. The same thing happened to me. You should probably try to get it done as soon as you can, but it's not the end of the world if you have to wait a few weeks. Let us know how the rest of the checkride turns out! |
