Default 2nd flight this Saturday

I got my second flight on Saturday morning. I can't wait, however Vegas is having some crappy wx this week I hope it's gone by Saturday morning. I get to participate in the pre-flight with the instructor on this one, should be fun.

So are you addicted yet?

Take that pre-flight inspection very seriously. I've seen students do a quick 3-5 minute preflight on a/c before, and after that, they got a good lecture on pre-flights.

I preflight like a grandma. I get their and my CFI tells me go ahead do my preflight while he eats some lunch i bring him. He usually comes out 10 minutes later. I show any concerns, he checkes to make sure all is good, then we go.

And i thought 10 minutes was short.

I am worse, I get there 15 minutes early (That is if I don't get a Ticket from the airport Police!!) and I start my preflight, the funny thing is the plane I fly is owned by the student before me with the same instructor. My preflight takes around 18 minutes.
I touch every single misleading part, there is no better feeling when you are in the cockpit to know that you did your best checking that aircraft physically. Especially when you are alone with only 45hrs TT.
Be safe out there.

Yes VERY addicted like a drug . I plan on taking a lot of time doing pre-flight, unfortunently it looks like the weather here is about to take a turn for the worse come Saturday. This will also put a damper on the NASCAR race here in Vegas. They are calling for rain and wind. Do they cancel NASCAR if it rains, just curious I dont know much about NASCAR.

I don't think so... depends on how badly it's raining... Mr. Creepy should be able to answer that for you!
