| Like many after lurking for almost 2 years I decided to break radio silence and post. I am a Brit, so had to go through the TSA's Alien Flight Student clearance before scheduling lessons. I have since been approved (a simple process) and scheduled my first lesson. PPL first, other ratings will follow if everything goes well. I am considering a career change, but while I like being flown, and the idea of flying myself, I feel I should complete the PPL to see if it something I really want to do for a living. I am sure after lesson one I will be hooked... I just bought a kneeboard, log book, headset and so on, but wondered if anyone could recommend sunglasses....I looked at Randolph glasses, but thought I would ask the community.... |

| Old Skool | Congrats on making this happen ... be sure to let us know how your first flight goes. I just wear whatever $5-$15 pair of Wal-Mart sunglasses I haven't lost yet.
