I e-mailed Jamie at XJT and let her know that I would not be going to the interview. I did lament over that decision for the whole weekend, but I figured that even if I did get XJT, living in base would balance out the bonus of working at XJT. This way I won't have to pay for a crashpad or deal with "am I gonna make this flight so I can get to work."

Oh, and JT. Don't make me throw the animated GIF I made of you about a year ago back up here.

I'm flying with Nathan and Austin and one more flight with one of my other students, then I'm out. I'm scheduled "OFF" for the rest of the week, but I'll be in and out. Officially I'm leaving on Saturday, but I think we're gonna try to get something together on Friday night since it'll be my last night. Add to that Austin should be done with his last checkride that day, too. Maybe we can convince LeAnne to let us use her house again.
