Default 1000 hours behind a giant fan...

So I am adding up my logbook today after a whirlwind weekend where I had to return to base due to getting close to a certain 8hr max for CFIs (it was around 9pm, I was flying since 8am that morning... actually, somewhat embarassing as I told my student we had to return because I was just feeling dead...). ..

I hit 1000hrs while in a steep turn at 5500ft doing a checkout flight in a C172!

I'll post again when I hit 2000.

Default Congrats

Congrats! And like I always say: I can't wait for that to be me. When you were getting near time to start training were you "so excited, you coudn't hide it" like in the song? That is how I feel now. Reading all these posts makes me more and more exited. As close as I can get is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. That or pay for another intro flight.

to be honest, I just wanted to go home and go to bed. It was a busy weekend, interview coming up, over-nervous-excited about that. Celebrating can be done later, when I have time to bake some cookies for the flight school.

don't forget 1500, when you are going to go for ATP, right ?

I recall passing 1000 a few months ago. Didn't even know it until a couple days later when I added up the logbook. It goes pretty fast, at the rate I'm at, I'll be at 2000 before this time next year.

Fun when you have students telling you they are at their first goals, of 100 hrs.

I crossed the 100 mark at the beginning of summer, does that count?
