Default First Solo

I flew solo for the first time today. My instructor and I flew from T.F. Green (PVD) to Quonset (OQU), and I performed four perfect takeoffs and full-stop landings. We taxied to the parking area, shut down, and my instructor hopped out to watch from the tower. I restarted the engine, did a quick runup, called Ground, taxied to the runway, called Tower, and back-taxied to the approach end of Runway 23, and was cleared for takeoff.

I had been just a little nervous about it earlier today, but I was feeling very confident after the four takeoffs and landings we did, and once I was off the ground for the first time alone, it felt great. It had a very natural feeling to it. Kinda hard to describe, but I'm sure that those who have done it know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, I did three takeoffs and full-stop landings, which went very well, and then my instructor and I headed back to PVD. After that, I went to Stop & Shop and bought some turkey, and I went home and made a sandwich, and ate it. It tasted good. The end.

I remember my 1st solo. The plane seemed to lift off so effortlessly. It didn't dawn on me until I had to look over my right shoulder that I was alone. Good times! Congrats on the solo!
