| Old Skool | [ QUOTE ] They might make money, but a business that treats its employes like dog#### shouldn't be considered a good business, no matter how much they make. [/ QUOTE ] May as well boycott Disney while we're at it, then. No more DVDs, no more family vacations, etc. Why? This sounds like something they would pull. It's pretty sad when your people making $6.45 an hour are unionized....heavily. If it weren't for the meager job situation in Orlando, most of those people probably would walk. Unfortunately, if you've been at Disney two years, anywhere else you start in Orlando is probably gonna be a paycut. Sad considering when I left Disney (after several years) I was ALMOST up to $8/hr...... Mesa is a pretty horrible company from what I hear. I have no first hand knowledge of them, so I can't officially pass judgement. I'm sure, like Disney, they had a "once upon a time" golden period, but I think that has all changed due to economic pressure in the industry and fights between management and employees. |
