| I soloed for the first time at New Symrna Beach, FL. I took off with my CFI and did two touch and goes and a full stop. My instructor calls ground and lets them know im on my first solo. We taxi to the approach end of rwy 11 (non-active) my instructor hops out and goes good luck and brings his handheld radio with him. I continue taxi to rwy 6, do my pre take off checklist, call tower, and they reply with, N298SP did you just drop your instructor off at the approach end of rwy 11. uh.... thats affirmative sir.. 8SP Ready for departure rwy 6, closed traffic, touch and goes.. hold short rwy 6 landing traffic on final, two arrivals before your departure.... hold short of 6, two arrivals 8SP. 8SP taxi in to position and hold.... taxi into position and hold.. 8SP Never mind 8SP, your cleared for takeoff, have a nice flight.. Cleared for takeoff 8SP, thank you sir... so everything goes pretty much good, flared a little high on the touch and goes, but nothing too bad, taxi off onto alpha and pick up my instructor and then afterwards, he takes a picture of the airplane and me and head inside for the shirt cutting.. lol hes like damn boy, its so sweaty, i cant even cut it.. lol, old navy makes good shirts.. yeah, so i now have 19.8 total with .5 as PIC ![]() |
