That's right, kids. I just got back from Dallas, where I made it through the Eagle interview and medical. Before anyone starts telling me not to do it, let me say that I couldn't care less what you tell me. It's 121 experience with a stable company, and it looks like they're going to be foolish enough to give me a jet! Don't have a training date yet, but probably within the month, from what they were saying. I want to specifically thank Doug for all the help I've gotten in the last three (almost four) years participating in this site. I probably could have gotten to this point without you, but it would have taken longer and been a more difficult road. You are, indeed, the man, my friend.

Hey, congrats man, thats awesome!!! ![]() Nice job!!! I'd say I'll see you on the line, but you'll most likely get the jet. ![]() Did you fly the 707 or the F100 for the sim? I heard they are transitioning back to the F100 for evals. soon...

1040 TT, 140 multi, 5 letters of rec/one internal. I'd love to get the CRJ, especially with word they're moving them from Dallas to Chicago (no desire to live in Dallas), but I'll take what I can get. 10 of us started, five of us made it to sim and all of us made it through that. We were the first five people to fly the Fokker 100 sim. I thought it was kind of a good omen, actually, since Fokker is my nickname. Cool to fly - all glass, flight director engaged, and an FO who does everything for you but steer.

congrats! my inst is applying to eagle. don't know if he'll get the call though. he seems to think he's too old to get on with them. if i'm not mistaken are more regional carriers starting to look for younger pilots. i haven't seen this with all but there are some are there not?

| Agent Smith | You know what's hilarious is that I've known JDflight since his young neophyte aviator days, but I still can't ride his cockpit jumpseat! Ha! |
