| Hello all, After 7 months-$7.5k-and $250 spent at OXC, I finally passed my PPL. It was the greatest feeling I ever have in months. I worked nights and days to be able to fund the training and now I can relax for a little while. Thanks all for helping me out with some of the questions I had, I finally made it. | Old Skool | Congratulations! You should be proud of your accomplishment! Stay safe! I returned from my checkride, had my wife (then fiance) meet me at the airport, then flew her to Baltimore . . . felt nice to fly her somewhere without needing an instructor to chaperone us. |

| Thank you all. My first passenger will be my instructor. I just want to buy him lunch and doing the flying as "PIC" (in your face instructor) type of thing. But I'm lucky to have an instructure that isn't much older than me, very down to earth talk. ![]() |
