| Old Skool | Yeah seriously. I didn't get up until 11:30 a.m., and that's still really early considering that I don't have class starting until 1:00 p.m. College owns you |

| From one Captain Chris to another..... and a former football player to another---you're being a slapass haha....go to practice, play hard in the games, and some college will pick you up and pay for your flight training like my school did with me In all seriousness, college is a piece of cake, football gets even more fun once you're at college (I am at the D-1A level so we get treated pretty sweet...), if you can manage to find a school who will buy into you as a person and a player you will have it made. My typical day: 8AM: Lift 9AM-1:30PM: Class 1:30-4:15: FLY FLY FLY 5PM-7:30PM: Practice 8PM-??: DO YOUR DUTY AND PLEASE THAT BOOTY!! (or knock out a little cross country time if the ladies aren't avliable!!!). |

| Senior Member | Nice job vs SEMS last week! I was there!!! In fact, I almost went to BG. A friend of mine who just started at BG invited me up last weekend and we went to the game! Jacobs was pretty impressive. Tough way to start your season by playing the #2 team in the country huh? |

| Old Skool | You play ball for Bowling Green? I'm in the marching band at Western Michigan and we're taking a trip down to see my team kick the ##### outta ya'll Should be a good game, hope ya'll continue to do as well as you did last season. |

| John... I am jealous of you that you get such a sweet flight school, but at the same time I am sorry your football team sucks so bad. We're you in the band 2 yrs. ago when you guys came here and lost in double overtime? If so, yeah CaptChris was the one who sacked your sorry QB late in the 4th to end your chances of winning that game Today we lost one of our new freshmen. He died about 10 minutes or so into practice. So, should be a tough week for us, but it's a bye week so we'll have a little time to recoup. As for SEMO---piece of cake win for BG...as far as I am concerned we shouldn't waste our time with D-1AA teams. Oklahoma was a good game, last yr. we beat Purdue and ALMOST beat Ohio St. late in the fourth. But what is important is that we don't lose to W-M-Who? Ahh I can't remember their name now... I just remember seeing their little gold helmet go flying off as I sacked their QB Alright guys, appreciate the support... |

| Old Skool | heh, to be honest man, I'm not even in the flight program here. I love the school though, and I'm real proud of what we do here. Our marching band is one of the best in the country, and we have a basketball team (both men's and women's) that dominate the MAC, and have a good shot at going to the NCAA bracket. Can't say I made it to that game, but if it was 2002, then you sacked Jon Drach; and I'm almost glad that you did. That guy was one sorry excuse for a quarterback. More than that, we have one REAL sorry excuse for an offensive line. That's why we loose most our games to be real honest. We've had good QB's, good runners and good recievers; but the offensive line continues to colapse under almost anyone's defense. It's depressing to tell you the truth seeing that we were division champs in 1999 and 2000 and usually have a contending team. Anymore we're a joke, but still not as bad as Eastern or Central Michigan! Another thing that makes it hard for us to build a real quality program up here is that we have Michigan and Michigan State both about an hour and a half away from us. It makes it hard to get good players to come and play for us, letalone have our students dig our sports program. The kids that go here are more into Michigan and Michigan State football than are Bronco football. Again, depressing when you put as much time as I do into the marching band here to have people ignore the work you're doing. Complaining about my school aside, good luck this year. I love to see that the MAC is turning into a conference that people will respect a little more. Between you guys, Miami (last year), NIU and Toledo the conference is shaping up to be a decent one. What number are ya? I'll look for you to come screaming through the offensive line at our QB |

| Senior Member | Don't overlook BG's flight program. The guy who runs it (mcdermott is his name right?) really impressed me. Its smaller but a good one. I think they got a few new planes recently too right? You're right about MAC football getting some attention. I was torn watching the BG Purdue game last year because at the time, those were my two top choices . Hell even last week Marshall was a field goal away from upsetting Ohio State. And we all saw what BG and Miami U with Big Ben did last year. I usually try and go to the MAC championships at the Gund every year. I didn't see WMU this year tho. Sorry to hear about your team's loss . I can't imagine how hard that will be to swallow but i'm sure you guys will feed off of that for the rest of the year PS: does WMU still have that old 747 used for maintenence classes. I remember my tour guide let me nose around it. |

| Old Skool | Seriously, a HS football coach letting you off from practice for an eye exam! Jeez these HS coaches are getting soft these days . You do have a nice schedule but sorry I am a college senior and my schedule is CAKE! Just you wait. My class schedule is Monday 8:10-11:10 AM Monday Night 7:00-8:30PM Thursday 8:10-11:10AM My class that goes from 9:50 AM-11:10AM M, TH I don't really consider it a class. It is called Contemporary Feminist Theory but it might as well be called Female Sexual Theory with the things they talk about. There are some hotties in there and I am usually drooling as I think about the things they are saying . However, like Chris said try to get someone to pay you to play football in college. My school doesn't have a flight program but they are paying me to play football there so the money that was saved up for me to go to college is paying for my flight training. In my schedule I have practices built in to it. We practice Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:00-6:00 with meetings and all that good stuff. I have to lift during the week as well Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning. Do agree those MAC teams are tough. We are playing Kent State this week and I saw some highlights of their QB and WOW what a player. |

| Senior Member | You must play for Rutgers then.... Yea I caught a little bit of Kent highlights on the local news this past weekend. Cribbs is an excellent player. I think he had 100 yards passing and 100 yards rushing vs Liberty (who I think they played, can't remember for sure) |

| Mike, BG's flight school sucks... Mcdermott would sell his mother's soul to get someone into a training contract here. This is why: Cessna 152/172R: $112/hr+Instructor $25/hr Piper Arrow: $140/hr+$35/instructor Piper SEMINOLE: $280/hr+35 instructor (OVER $300/hr for a light twin!!!) This school is growing quicker than it can handle, and I wouldn't be suprised to see them go under someday. In the past 3 months, they had a guy come up short of the runway on a power-off 180 (didn't claim an incident, but got caught by word of mouth), and one of their CFI's overflew an inspection (serious trouble). This flight school is in trouble! Chris |

| Senior Member | Eww...maybe i had the wrong impression about the flight school. Anyway the only better feeling than beating the Ratbirds will be beating the Squeelers twice last season. That was beautiful to see Ray Lewis with the 'foot in mouth' expression on his face during the final minutes last sunday. As a matter of fact, I just joined the Daytona Beach Browns Backers and will be watching this week's game vs the cowboys at their resturant . |

| Senior Member | Never heard of your high school. Just started there last month and I came in with my PPL, which I finished this summer at home, and also paid for by my job at a local country club's golf staff. What is your jersey #? |

| yeah I wish I can get recruited lol, but I dont even start, im like a 2nd/3rd string WR/DB and a back up for punt block. But I enjoy playing football especially in high school Varsity level, we get team meals, we get to dress out, and the whole theme of being out competing for state in a friday night in a stadium is realley awesome. But I could have been working on my PPL. I haven tflown since May. |

They are the team pizza dinners at one of our houses, the long silent busrides out to small country schools where the whole town comes out (having a bunch of farmers heckling us and calling us pansy rich kids is more entertaining than insulting...but when you go to a private school, that comes with the territory), the long loud busrides after a victory there. The moments you spend with your teamates can be the most memorable (man do I sound corny ) |
