| I'm off to Dallas tomorrow to kick off my 7 weeks of fun. Training at Eagle starts Monday. I probably won't spend much time on the internet, but I'll try to keep you all updated on my progress once a week or so and maybe post some pics. No idea on equipment or base yet, but I'll find out in a few days. I do know that its a mostly jet class (though that won't necessarily help my odds since I'll be one of the most junior). Thanks to everyone who has given me advice and support over the past couple of years! (And to the couple of you who have PM'd me bashing Eagle with no first-hand experience with the company or my personal goals: get a life.) Adios, ya'll. And drink one (or ten) for me in Vegas...wish I could've been there! |

Hours: Roughly 1200, 250 multi, ~200 turbine, lots of actual and cross country. Seven months 135 experience. Took my first flight lesson April 1998. Got my private in 2000. Been instructing and other misc. flying jobs for the past two years. In fact, the day I got my class date was exactly two years to the date of my Commercial Multi checkride. Oh yeah...I'm 22. P.S.- Networking is huge. It didn't get me this job directly, but there's no way I'd have been qualified for this job yet if it weren't for previous jobs achieved through networking. |

| Old Skool | Good deal, buddy! You'll be missed in Vegas, but it's for a good reason. And it is so good to see after watching you post about how you were being shafted at your last job! |

[/ QUOTE ]DITTO that! enjoy every minute of training and let us know how it's going from time to time! now, it's time to give back and show the youngin's how it's done!! Nice to know that when you hit rock bottom, the only way you can go is UP isn't it?! good luck! we'll drink more than one in your honor at NJC! Keep in mind that we're looking for perspective articles relating to how the airlines train their peoples (each airline does it differently from what i'm told). Same goes for you too Omar & Szluka when you finish your skywest training. |
