| BUT JUST AS GOOD!!!! I'm starting next Friday at the hospital doing clinical research part time, and then going full time (with Bennies!) in January after I graduate! This has been in the works for a while, but everything is finally set! I am super excited about this one. | Congrats, Emily! What exactly does 'clinical research' entail? What kinds of things will you be doing? |

| I'll basically be running studies on people trying out new drugs on them and simotaneously monitoring a control group. The studies are usually blinded so I won't know who's in what group. That'll be when I go full time. For the fall I'll just be helping everyone else out because they're really behind in paperwork and in transfering things from the lab to freezers etc. |

| Old Skool | If you wanted to get into medicine . . . a real big CONGRATS to you. Doesn't matter that it's not flying, a success story anyhow. |

| not quite that kristie, I'm not going to be in the lab at all, so no experimenting stuff for me...I'm going to be taking things that have already been invented and try them out on people. A lot of it though is going to be trying drugs in different combos to see if that helps the people more than what they were previously on. |
