| Yeap so I've logged my first 0.8 PIC! It has taken ALOT longer than I've thought/wanted but it has come. I had somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 hours this due to the fact that i was averaging 3 lessons/month. When we started we did 10 dual turns in the pattern, no-flap, p/off, X wind .etc then we taxi back to the ramp he gets out says gimme 3 touch and goes with taxi back and I'll meet you right back here. I taxi out and take off (amazing how much one person can affect the performance!!) did my touch and goes and landed. Well that was about it, hard work pays off! Ryan |

| Cool! I soloed earlier this summer and it was the same way, "drop me off at the fence and I want you to do 3 t/o's and landings." No sweat, huh? |

| [ QUOTE ] Did they cut the back of your shirt off? [/ QUOTE ] Nope my instructor said as we were walking back to our cars "we'll have to cut your shirt" and when we got back to the school I guess he forgot b/c he was taking another student up. Yeah it stinks because I woulda liked to have something to remember the occasion by, oh well. |

Did three take offs and landings with my instructor. Then three more with a different instructor. By the time I dropped him off, the winds had changed. I got confused taxiing out, and crossed the active runway. Needless to say, you couldn't pry my shirt off after that. |
