|  Received my first students today
I have been a CFI for 3 weeks and I know have 5 students. Two primaries and 3 instrument students. I haven't made a dollar in 2 year, but I should be making a few while also taking a couple classes. It should be worth at least a 100 hours of flying. It is going to be a busy yet fun semester. I can't wait!! |

UND hired 135 instructors last week (give or take a few) and I was one of the lucky ones. The only thing I have to do now is get over this nervousness. I am a little afraid for my first few flights, but I am sure things will smooth our after the first couple weeks. |

Congrats. Seriously, that's huge on my mind right now...how I'm going to be on the first day of being a "real" instructor (like somehow I'm a fake one right now [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]). I think that's probably pretty normal. Let us know how it goes! By the way, is UND Part 141 or 142? I heard that you guys were 142, but that was from a fairly unreliable source... |
