| Re: we\'ve ADOPTED... when she meows loud enough (like an unruly teenager) - yup!!
it's mostly that I stayed down with her for quite awhile because I could tell she was having a hard time with all the mucous in her nose & sneezing every few minutes... just called the doc and they're going to prescribe the antibiotic without seeing her (WHEW!)...common cat cold! probably nothing more...
and nurse did say they can get it from the vaccine because it's what it's supposed to be preventing....similar to the flu shot, i guess....
actually going to take off from here early to pick it up and check on her...
unfortunately, now we have to keep the other kats away from her, cuz it's contagious... |

The cat at my FBO was named Piper, good ol' fat cat. She needed a few surgeries here and there though..
Piper passed a few months ago, I didn't get to know her that well though. May she RIP
Her ashes were scattered on the windsock next to the runway, I miss her. |

The FBO in Beaumont had a black lab named "taildrager"
He just showed up one day having been beaten severly. We caught him and took him to the vet to get him patched up. His lived at the airport for 8 years.
The crazy thing was he loved running behind a turning propeller, but he never got hit. |

| Re: we\'ve ADOPTED... Technically, a "Black & Tan" is a Guiness Stout and a Bass Pale Ale.
[ QUOTE ]
(from drinksmixer.com): Fill stein half full with Bass. Next pour Guiness over a spoon slowly until glass is full. If done correctly the Guiness will stay on top and the Bass on bottom hence the name Black & Tan.
[/ QUOTE ]
So, name the kitty "Guinass" or "Bassess"? |

| Re: we\'ve ADOPTED... Hey Doug,
what kind of wireless router do you have? Does it work well? I just moved into a new apt and I probably shouldn't be drilling holes in the walls, so I am looking at getting a Wireless G router.
Does anyone have a recomendation on which router to get? Is the new router that is boosted to get a faster connection worth the extra few bucks?
thanks |

| Re: we\'ve ADOPTED... We've got a D-Link system, and couldn't be happier with it.
Our two desktops are hardwired to it, and we've got a wireless card in our laptop. They all work great. |
