Dad's school has a booth there, and he works the booth the first 3 days, so I'm hoping to snag some tickets & exhibitor passes from him

Read and study the NOTAM (its already been published) and plan on a VFR arrival. If its VMC thats what you will be doing. If its IMC, of course file IFR and and plan on that.

Don't be 'that guy' that flies IFR and doesn't have the NOTAM with him (and never looked at it) and expect vectors to an ILS just do you don't have to deal will flying around all the other airplanes.

I'll probably arrive late the 23rd and watch tall the arrivals. Then stay through the end. I look like I'm like 14, so I'll be that kid who talks to you, and knows much more then a 14 year old should.

I will be there in the red, white and blue commander from Thurs the 30th to SUN the 2nd. I'm still looking for a place to crash in North Illinois on the night of WED the 29th, Beer, dinner and a few turns around the patch are included.
