South/Central Texas

Ok, There are two threads going talking about central/south texas, and many mentions of a meet and greet.

I previously mentioned HYI since they have a little cafe on the field, and its somewhat central to San Antonio, and Austin.

T82 was also mentioned as a great meet and greet location, also with a cafe on the field. Heyeng and myself met for breakfast this morning and thought up a second idea. How about a mutli stop meet and greet. Meet at T82 in the am, and cruise over to HYI and maybe do a tour of the Confederate airforce museum.

Or, if you have another idea share it. Also lets hear some date suggestions, and plan something soon!

Ideas???

Hey. That's a hell of an idea. I like that a lot. That would allow flexibility so that people who might not make the morning could still make the afternoon...

Tim...you are a pretty smart guy! I am available pretty much anytime except the 4th and the weekend of the 25th-26th. Can we tentative plan for the 11th or the 18th? What do ya'll think?!?

You are correct. Getting laid off from a job you enjoy is the pits. However, this post wasn't meant to turn the thread in to a pity party.

Garrad, Maybe we should reschedule a little down the rode. It seems there is not a lot of interest right now. I guess maybe short notice, lack of employment, HOT HOT weather have been a deterent. Maybe try to plan it for sometime in sep??

Just a thought, Im still open, I would just like to see more involvement!
