I would like to go but it will depend on how much money flight training leaves me with at the end of summer quarter. I won't have a better idea until closer to July.

Hey John and SkiBum, not sure how far you two are from Lansing, but there is a new Las Vegas Airline called Allegiant Air. Rountrip from Lansing to LAS is $261 including taxes and what not. That is a pretty good deal. Check out their website here

Not to toot their horn or anything (I'll leave that to Lloyd!) but Soutwest serves the MDW-LAS and DTW-LAS markets (whether nonstop or connecting I'm not certain). There are always fare sales to Las Vegas from almost anywhere ... one just needs to look around. Personally, I'm hoping to wave my airline ID and get out there on the jumpseat, but there's this minor little matter of an interview and training and what-not to get through first!

I won't know about my schedule till I pass training and stuff, but if I get the base that I want (PSP) which has a good possibility of happening, my line will be PSP-LAX-PSP-LAS all day long! YIppee! So if everything works out, count me in! If I end up getting the days off entirely, I'll definetely make it with probably 2-3 people.

Omar they give you first bid because you're already an employee right? So you'll pretty much start as an RJ FO at PSP?
