Florida (TPA, DAB, MCO)

Hey all!

I'm going to be in St. Pete/Clearwater/Tampa from March 9th-12th, and Daytona Beach the 12th-15th. If anyone would like to meet up for dinner or lunch one day, let me know. I can't make promises, since I really don't know what is planned (left most of that up to the gal). I know on the St. Pete side we're going to try and stay pretty busy, while on the DAB side it's just mostly going to be debauchery (since I'm leaving the girl behind and it's just me and my best bud)! He's newly single after 4 years, so we're going to try and "re-release" him into the wild.

Anywho, if you're up for it, post or PM me.

BTW, FlyChicaga, there is an airshow in Titusville while you're down here. Not sure how far it is driving from DAB, but it's only like 5-10 minutes in the air. It's mostly warbirds and it's on March 13-14th. I'll be there on the 14th.

Sounds good! It would be a pleasure to meet you all. I'm getting in (hopefully!) at around 11:00 am into TPA. Gotta grab the rental car, but maybe we can do lunch a little after that? John and Kell, I know you guys are in MCO. You'll be flying over?

Any good places around there? I'm going to be picking my g/f up in Port Richey, and staying on Lake Tarpon on the Clearwater side. Any tips of good stuff to do around there would be awesome!

R2F has a steamroller, er I mean an SUV that will hold all four of us. Bring your neon just in case his bosses won't let him go. (I'd be really surprised if they didn't - they KNOW he is an aviation addict!)

K. guys... sorry that I didn't respond earlier. I bolted from the office at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and didn't look back.

I have a ground lesson scheduled for Noon tomorrow (Tuesday), but I'm going to see if my instructor doesn't mind changing it to the evening and then joining us for lunch.

I'll drive my "Steamroller". We'll all fit just fine as long as Tenney's F.A. sit's up front....or in the very back.

Looking forward to it!

Looks like we're finally having that FL get-together.

I'll try and remember to bring my digital camera.
