| Big Chief's Woman | squaw peak is good cuz it's right in the center of the city and they have a hard course (up to the top of the mountain) as well as a easy walk in and through the mountains between squaw peak and dreamy draw. are you looking for mountain biking or hiking? cuz that'll make a difference! there are trails right up in the mcdowell mountains too that you could walk to right from westworld, but there not as well marked as squaw peak is, yet doug knows where the best mountain bike trails are in that area since it's right near the house. |

| Big Chief's Woman | so, let's say friday at 4pm - meet at Arriba's on the 101 frontage road. Best way to get there, get off of the 101 at Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd and go south on the west side of the 101 frontage road (if your coming north, you'll be making a legal u-turn at the interchange). Arriba's is situation next to wal-mart on the west side of the 101 between Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd & Raintree Drive exits. do you guys wanna just hang loose and wing it with casual clothing or dress to impress and hit downtown scottsdale or something later in the evening. the clothing makes a difference with getting into some of the joints in downtown SDL or places like Barcelona's where it's "north SNOTTSdale" - the nice thing about Barcelona's is that it's right down the street from Arriba's, so if you want to do that, we could (I have no prob dressing up)... downtown SDL is about 20 mins or so... we do have a pretty large bottle of EXP Viognier at our favorite wine bar up the street from westworld and could use a few more people to help us drink it (it's double the size of a regular bottle of wine) if you all are into some wine or what not... just let me know what you feel like doing - we can do anything (yes, even "that" but MikeD would be sad if we did "that" without him! haha) ![]() |

| Well I live in Snottsdale, so I'm game for anything! And I'm going to try to go to the jet show at the scottsdale airport on Thursday too. |

| Kristie: 4 it is! I've got a bit of change in plans as just my sister and I are doing the trip now - my grandmother is ill so my mom is staying home this year. As such, my sis may join us for a short while before she meets up with one her old high school buddies that lives in PHX. As far as places to hit after Arriba's - it makes absolutely no difference to me. Barcelonas, the wine bar, downtown SDL, does not matter. I am packing some dressier clothes for the evenings so I should be set either way. I've been to Arriba's but not to Barcelonas, the wine bar, or any of the clubs downtown (my sister has been to Axis/Radius on a previous trip tho) so I'll let someone that knows of these places pick! Just let me know before the end of the workday today as I won't be near a computer after that! As far as hiking - we had thought about just hiking as I don't know where you could rent mountain bikes around town. We are staying clear down by the PHX airport so we were looking at South Mountain Park (? I think that's the name of it) or the McDowell Mountain trails since they are close to Westworld. Kristie I am pm'ing you my cell phone number so you have a way to get ahold of me should something come up or change between Thursday AM and Friday PM. Lookin' forward to it! Sarah |

| I'll just play the staying out late thing by ear - I don't have to be up TOO early on Saturday (maybe 7?) but don't plan around me! If I need to head off for some sleep, I will. I'll bring some dressy clothes to the show Friday so I can change before we meet up. Looking forward to meeting everyone! Sarah |

I'll bring the trail maps that we have with me to happy hour so you can check them out. |

| I am not sure what "irl" means, but I believe you are refering to my real name. It is Brad. I look forward to meeting everyone. |

| Hey all, just wanted to let ya know that I'm gonna try to make it to the little get together Friday. I live in Snotsdale and it would be great to meet some more of you folks. No promises yet that I'll be there but I'm gonna try. I met Aloft today at the Air Center's jet preview and I look forward to meeting the rest of you. I probably won't make it to anything past dinner, but we'll see how things go. |

| Twisted your arm sufficiently, did I? Cool! Should be a good time. Did that Legacy ever take off? I got tired of waiting after it taxied out. ![]() For those who missed it, here was the second-coolest thing about today's show at SDL: ![]() Me behind the wheel of an Aston Martin Vanquish. ![]() |

| Old Skool | Well it looks like I just missed you Aloft. I was there around 12:40 local time. I'll be at Arribas sometime between 4 and 4:30 (I technically get off at 4:30 but the boss usually leaves early on Fridays and if he does again to day I can leave early as well). ![]() |

| I actually did make it to the show from about 11-12. [ QUOTE ] ![]() Me behind the wheel of an Aston Martin Vanquish. [/ QUOTE ]Funny, I have four identical pictures of myself and 3 other friends in the Vanquish! Didn't the legacy have the biggest darn cockpit you ever done seen!? Hope everyone had an awesome time. I wasn't planning on going originally because I had several classes but fortunately my roommates convinced me that it was more important than my education! I'd have to agree now! |

| Yeah Aloft, ya forced me into it. Was good to meet you yesterday by the way. Would have been nice to meet the others that were there too, but perhaps I'll see ya tonight. I worked from 6am til about 5:30 and yes the legacy finally took off shortly after you did Aloft. It had quite an audience when it did to. I should have taken you down to one of our hangars as we have another Legacy based with us. Oh well, ya seen one ya seen em all, right? ![]() |

| [ QUOTE ] Didn't the legacy have the biggest darn cockpit you ever done seen!? [/ QUOTE ] That Legacy 'pit was the first coolest thing, but that picture (of me in the FO seat) is just for me--like Carson Kressley says, "If you can see it, you can be it!" Isn't the Legacy simply an ERJ-135 with an executive interior? And isn't an ERJ simply a Brasilia with jet engines? If so, then the Brasilia 'pit should be as large as the Legacy's, right? (Dunno, never been in a Brasilia.) |
