I wonder if he corked his bats when he was with the Sox, too....

I saw Sammy when he played Single A ball in Gastonia, NC. He was pretty skinny. I wonder how these guys get so huge...

I was thinking maybe about a sox game because on mondays' or tuesday's they have have price games and it is almost impossible to get sox vs. cubs.

I am about an anti cubs fan as they get.

Wrigley is way more of a Chicago icon then the Cell, though.

You can't possibly be more anticub than me, I am a born and raised St. Louisan and St. Louis Cardinal fan. Its almost religion to hate the Cubs here.

To live in St. Louis and hate the Cubs...I can understand and even emphasize with that, but to be from Chicago and hate the Cubs... Well, that's just wrong.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 27th. I vote for a Cubs/Cards game. Maybe a Wednesday or something. Definitely a day game though.

Sox Suck,
Dave

Heh, my friend is a die-hard Cubbie, and I'm a Marlins fan. We actually sat next to each other during the NLCS in Miami and lived to tell about it.

I'd love to go, but since I have bottom-of-the-shoe seniority at work, it's gonna be mid-week. Weekends off would be another 5 or 6 years down the line, and I will be VERY disappointed if I'm still slinging bags then.

Well, if we are going to do Chicago, we should start planning.

Okay, I've been really busy lately, but I'm going to get on the Chicago Wolves website and check game dates & prices. I'd like to go to a Hawks game, but the Wolves are cheaper. (and closer to where I live ) Anyway.........I'll post the dates 'n stuff after I do some research!

Also, maybe a Cubs game later, check out the Cubs latest aquisition? (Maddux)

Next year is here!
(maybe)

Wolves are definitely easy for me to head out to, also. I was just past there the other day. Thanks for checking on that!

Okay, for a Wolves game we can either do a quick thing, and go on the 28th or 29th, or we can plan a bit in advance and do March 17th (a Wednesday) or March 20th (a Saturday).

Tickets range in price from $40 - $32 - $23 - $16 - $13 - $9

Personally from looking at the seating chart, I think the $23 seats would be the best!

What does everyone think?

Count me in too, guys, I've been flying out of KDPA but things have been slow so I should be able to work something into the schedule. A Cubs game sounds like a great idea, they'll have a lot more night games starting next season too so that could be an option.

I'm up for any Chicago trip. I live in West Lafayette, IN which isn't too far a flight to MDW.

Let me know what you folks work out and I'll try to work around your plans if possible!
