| OK lets decide what we are going to do on this issue. The suspense is killing me. Please indicate your preference of location and time frame. Then we can move from there. |

| Yeah, as long as I can afford it at the time and can get a few days off, I don't really care when or where it is. |

| I vote for the FLA locations simply because they are SWA cities and I can get there for free. (not to mention I've seen enough of ATL over the past 6 months, and the trips ain't done yet by a long stretch) But, don't use my opinion to base decision on at all - as a lot of factors play into whether I can make it or not. |

| Old Skool | You all give me the word and I will set something up in Orlando. I can get facilities at the Showalter FBO at KORL no problem. |

| Old Skool | I say we set up shop with a nice buffet on the third floor of Orlando Jet Center. ![]() At least I think that's what it's called now..... |

| Old Skool | LOL Only if you can pry the key away from Dan. He's locking it now. It is outrageously expensive to rent as well. |

| About Orlando, is Church Street Station still there? |
| |
| | #12 |
| Big Chief's Woman | probably still there but non-existant right?! they used to have clubs all thru downtown and Ms. Hood (the esteemed mayor) decided to up all the rents which forced all the clubs to close.... now, i think it's just church street station and a few piddly restaurants.. but i'm hoping at least howl at the moon, jungle jims and mulvaneys are still there nearby!! |

| Old Skool | Oh no it is now the Market Place and the Exchange! The place is the center of downtown as far as nightlife is concerned, or so I am told. I don't go out anymore LOL. I used to play piano (as a sub) at Howl at the Moon and that is still there last time I walked by. There's also a bunch of clubs, restaurants and even a mall. |

| Big Chief's Woman | I like the 3rd floor arcade personally!! and $0.05 beer on wednesdays at phineas phoggs... so JT, your saying the clubs like firestone and jani lane's club are still there? I thought they'd all been closed down by now... |

| I'll vote for Tampa since I've got some family I can stay with there. Looks like Aug. is the least popular choice of time so far which is good because that's the one time I'm sure I will not be able to make it. Any other time will all depend on $$ but I hope to be able to make it. |

| Old Skool | Firestone is still in existence although I believe it is pretty much 100% gay right now. I don't know about jani lane's. Neither one of those is on Church St., however although they are a short walking distance. |

| Big Chief's Woman | NO WAY! firestone - gay... whoda thunk it! back in my partyaholic days, that and the edge were the places to go! now, OZ is long gone, the edge is gone and firestone's gay... hmmmm... guess no more alternative clubs to go to in otown! I for sure thought they'd have shut firestone down by now for the excessive drug use that goes on there... so i take it there are new places to hang in town now? I liked Adobe Gila's a lot offa I-Drive.. best margarita's in the city!! |

| ok what I am seeing so far is that Tampa is the most popular choice (though I think R2F voted more than once...just kidding.) May followed by April look very popular. I just checked the Sun-n-Fun web site. We could do the Tampa area on the weekend of 16 April. That would allow people to also attend Sun-n-Fun if interested. What do you guys think? I still have to check with the boss but it could be fun. |

[/ QUOTE ] sounds good to me.. i was just talking to doug to see if there's still a way we can do a sponsorship or exhibitor for the convention portion... we could make up a flyer and do a little marketing and call it a "business trip"...maybe even hold a networking gathering... doug was telling me that sun-n-fun is just about as big as oshkosh.. is that right?? btw - I wouldn't mind meeting you michelle, just depends if we can get up to SLC or not... |

| Old Skool | It's not quite as big as Oshkosh, but it's DARN close. I normally have to take two or three days, and I still don't see everything. Lots of free stuff from the exhibitors, though. Plus, you get to see a LOT of cool airplanes, and the airshow is not too bad. If you're interested in the airshow, make sure you check the schedule before hand since a lot of the acts are only there for a couple of days. Also, make sure you check the seminar lists to see if there are any you would be interested in. I stumbled into one on airparks and airport communities, and I wound up there for over an hour. More importantly, my wife was actually LISTENING! |

I probably saw you there. You still play? And nightlife in downtown Orlando is as busy as ever. There are lots of places to go. |
