I used to do landscaping all summer long in Florida while I was on reserve in MCO. It was great physical exercise. I am a master of the edger but a dangerous man with the weedeater!

JT - don't know if this ever happened to you, but once, my buddy and I were using those industrial weedeaters to take out this vine that was growing on a few trees and the sap from the vine was like a nerve agent.

Made us ITCH like crazy! You could jump in water or run a hose over it and it would feel better..... until you got out or turned off the hose....

It was NASTY!!! Lasted for about an hour.

Anyway......

In all seriousness, if it were there, I'd consider provided I wasn't broke at the time. It is a SWA city, which helps!

Yeah, though I've been to Orlando and Ft Lauderdale before, it'd be nice to go someplace I've not been to. But, I'm not horribly picky. As long as I can do it on the cheap.

Well, if this is going to be centered on the South East, why don't we consider Atlanta? That seems to be in the center of a lot of us on here. There is plenty to do too. Or possibly Jacksonville?

Well lets run with this. What time frame would you guys be interested in? Atlanta gets hot in the summer too just FYI.

How much lead time does everyone need for planning? For my wife to join me I need a few months to get it set up. I couldn't go earlier than early April.

I could possibly do Atlanta (over the counter agreement with AirTran GOOD). I'd need a couple months advance notice as well. Who knows, maybe I could even get some x-country time out of this. Anyone in FL wanna share a plane?
