Unfortunately, my schedule filled up like crazy this week. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to anything.

I wasn't impressed with that BBQ place in Euless. It was $12 for the BBQ buffet which is basically just briscut and a beans. The inside reminds me of an old, rarely used VFW hall back home. I wasn't impressed, but others seem to like it.

So when do you all want to do dinner and lunch? When could everyone make it? I can do lunch anytime as I will be at the school all day Mon - Wed. and I can do dinner any day but Wed.

Just to avoid any confusion, there is also a Bone Daddy's in Grapevine, which is just a few miles down the road from SimuFlite. I'm pretty sure that isn't the location you were talking about, so I didn't want anyone to get mixed up.

Ahh.. thanks, I didn't know that.

I'll still go to the Grapevine Bone Daddy's.. gotta see if it's as good as the original.

Ahhh.. interesting. I was actually talking about the one in Grapevine next to CAE. I'm not from Dallas so I don't know all the locations of anything really; I'm going to have to print driving directions to everywhere.

So what is the concencus? Are you all wanting to keep it Sunday night or try for Monday night?

Are we able to make reservations at Bone Daddy's or do we all just want to meet at the front and walk-in?

I'd be in for a Monday night. I have a 530 class and could be out there around 8ish.

Sunday dinner is a no go for FF. Lunch either day is good.

I would think so, although I can't speak for everyone because I don't know their schedules, but I plan on staying that late if other people will.

Looks like Monday at Bone Daddy's in Grapevine at 6pm it is! Would someone mind calling and seeing about reservations? I suppose I can do it but I don't know what all they want. By the way, my number is 405-258-8525 if anyone needs it for whatever reason.

Any update on the reservation front?

I am heading down to Dallas tomorrow afternoon and will have very limited access to a PC, pretty much only late at night. If anyone needs to get a hold of me, for the dinner or for a lunch you can text, call, or leave a voicemail at 405-258-8525.

Had a good time!

I really enjoyed meeting USMCMech and his wife and kids, E6B, Roundout, and Frog Flyer! Sorry we missed Mikecweb and Keebler.

The food was pretty good... and the "scenery" was a step above Hooters. I think I still have a crick in my neck for looking all round a bit too much. I felt bad for Roundout and E6B... they were facing the window. FrogFlyer finally got wise and changed seats for a better view. I would have expected nothing less from him.

I'll see if I can get the pics up by the end of the day.

Bob

I agree; I didn't fully think my seating arrangements through last night.

Anyway, it was finally good to finally meet some people face-to-face from here. Thanks for stopping by Bob, next time I'll take you up on that dessert offer (or exchange it for a beer offer!)
