Default ATL on the 19th

It's completely last minute, but I just picked up a trip with an overnight in Atlanta on the 19th. I think we get in at noon on the 19th and leave early the next day. If anybody is around and wants to grab a beer shoot me a PM or give me a ring.

The train

Name the time and place.

Edit: Actually, nevermind. I forgot that I've already got plans from 4-8pm. I could do early afternoon though.

Parking is going to be a BITCH in downtown, especially around the Westin.

Albeit, it is a nice hotel. Good choice by XJT's Hotel Committee.

Has anyone mentioned meeting up AWAY from downtown? Perhaps in the Virginia Highlands or Little 5-Points area? Or, what about the very first Taco Mac?

Anyway - I'm sitting at my house enjoying the snow. Hope the roads are not crazy.

Parking is not a big deal the best is by pittypat's porch. Taco Mac is cool also if someone can pick John up.

I'm just clueless as to what is around the hotel. If there is a good bar/eatery I'm game for that there, that way we stay somewhat close. But as I said, I'm clueless to that area - besides knowing that parking is going to be $10, lol.

There is a good 20-30 restaurants around the hotel. Do you want a bar?

These restaurants offer free parking? I have no preference to bar vs. restaurant.

There is a Hooters, Jalepeno Charlie, Hard Rock, Ted's, but I like Taco Mac also free parking, good beer, good food that is going to cost less.

Is there a B-Dub's in downtown Atlanta? Because B-Dubs is the best place in the history of the world, and there are no B-Dubses in Salt Lake.

Yes but it is not near the hotel.

P.S. Taco Mac is better.

John, no worries. I have a new phone, new number, all that jazz.

I'll try my best to meet at the hotal at 6pm, but I'm not too sure if it'll be happening that way for me. Might have to meet you guys at Taco Mac. Wife has a roast in the crockpot that smells just delicious. . .if there was enough of it to go around you boys would be coming down to my place.

But, shortly after dinner I'll be on my way up to the city.
