 |  ORD/Chicago - Anyone around Saturday night? I got's me a 23 hour Chicago overnight this Saturday... staying around Madison Ave. and I-90. In at 1pm Saturday and out at 12pm Sunday. Anyone around? Bob

So, from our company's hotel review website... this location has been rated a 10 because it's close to downtown. Greek restaurants around, within view of the Sears Tower, and I'm being told that there's an awesome Irish Pub nearby too... Also, there's mention of the Magnificent Mile? kfour... what's your schedule during the weekend and how far are you from downtown? Anyone else around? Bob

I can meet up basically anywhere, my place is only 30mins from downtown (on a good day). Where is the hotel? I've got a good restraunt guide here, may be able to find something nearby. edit: also checkin' with some buddies who live downtown on good places to go. |

| Re: ORD/Chicago - Anyone around Saturday night? The Magnificent Mile is Michigan Avenue. It is packed with high-end stores, and generally is an enjoyable walk. The Irish pub they are referring to is like Fado. It is a great place... a bit pricey, with typical Irish fare. There are many restaurants and bars nearby. Definitely walk eastbound. Going both North and East you will find fun things to do and nice places to eat. I can't complain too much about Tulsa overnights. My girlfriend lives there. But I do miss overnights in ORD! If you and your crew get lost, or are looking for some advice, give me a call. I'll be arriving to my overnight shortly after you arrive in Chicago. I'd be happy to help you guys out!

We are meeting at my hotel @ 5:00pm and taking public transportation to Navy Pier followed by a trolly to some famous Chicago pizza joint... from there, we'll play it by ear.
