Hey there everyone...
JTrain stopped through DFW as a pit-stop on his way to IAH for some sort of "shiny-jet" training... I asked if he had any questions about training... and all he really wanted to know was how to operate the handmike, what button to push to call the Flight Attendant, how soon after takeoff can you activate the autopilot, and where the Lav was located... 
Anyway... met up with him and a few other JC'rs at Mercado Jaurez for some tasty mexican food.
Bryan ( Chewie von nubbins), Chris ( UofMcp1201), John ( Jtrain609), and myself ( Captain Bob) were all there...
I got there about an hour late around 7pm... and we ended up talking until almost 11:00pm!!
I met Chewie and UofM for the first time... Awesome guys!! I just really feel bad that they had to put up jtrain and me the whole night!

Sidenote... I think it looks like jtrain can be re-named "theshortone"! I'm 6 ft. for petes sake... Are all the pilots getting taller these days???

It was a sincere pleasure meeting you guys in person. Couldn't find a better bunch of stand-up guys anywhere. I think there was a record set last night for the number of words spoken per minute. And I gotta tell you, I was sitting there listening like a kid listening to a rumpelstilskin story!
I look forward to many more of those in the future. You guys are what this forum is all about.

I barely made it home in time to get cleaned up & dried up to make it over there.

Impending Doom!!! We tried to out run the storm... the only problem was... the storm was heading northeast and we were on a road heading north and we couldn't turn east for 6 more miles... So... we ended up on a collision course. The wavy road is from taking a pic on a camera phone at 70 mph on a motorcycle. 
It downpoured big time! The streets in Cleburne turned into rivers... with rapids! (seriously) We found one of the only dry spots in town... 
Everything was wet... We stayed pretty dry while we were moving... I was pretty soaked on my left side since the wind was blowing from that direction... but it wasn't until we slowed down due to traffic slowing (and stopping in the middle of the streets!) in town that we got drenched. 
Including me... but... it was still a fun ride!

Yeah, sorry I couldn't make it this time, guys.
John, that IAH trip wasn't in open time any more (probably already got assigned to some guy on reserve), so I'll have to try to see if there's another one later this month.
What happend to Caves? I mean, I like MJ, but dude!
