Default Philadelphia - June 24-26

I'll be arriving at PNE this Sunday evening and departing Tuesday morning. Anyone going to be around? Let me know! I haven't met any JCers in awhile!

We live here! DH was chief instructor at one of the schools at PNE a million years ago! You're welcome to come to our house for dinner and mojitos or whatever you like (if you promise not to post about my housekeeping skills).

Thanks!

I only get to fly the Conquest and the Falcon. The Sovereign only rents hangar space from us...however, I may get to do some contract work with them if the need ever arises. And, there is only one Sovereign. The guy who owns it had the first one (the better looking one), sold it awhile back and bought the second one, which is what I took the videos from while on a trip with them as a pax.

Crap! I don't know if I could get up there. Oh well, you don't want to hang out with an annoying kid asking you "what does this do?" every five seconds. And ILG is wayyy better

I'll see...

Well the offer for dinner and mojitos still stands. We have three kinds of mint growing on our deck! PM me if you are interested. We're only a few miles from PNE (probably on the outer edge of the definition of "few", which is 3 to 8)

DH had a heck of a time getting home today--everyone in DTW was going to PHL! But he's home. The bad news is that there won't be fresh caught diver scallops on the menu because the plans for the dive changed. Scallops are in deep, deep water. They're only going deep now. But we might get lobster! If not, we always have plan B!

Looks like I'll miss this by a day. Oh well; another time.

Have fun!

Well, if you're also into motorcycles (as we are) our "Eating and Wrenching Society" is meeting Monday for food and libation at the Manayunk Brewery.

I know Eric (Bandit_Driver) and Tanya are out in that area (vacationing), just not sure how long they're going to be staying in town.

Kristie, they were to leave today--Saturday on our buddy passes (that they also used to arrive on Tuesday).

Thanks! I'll see if the other guy has any plans...although I wouldn't mind just leaving him in the hotel! n57flyguy might be coming up to check out the airplane and chat on the 25th...not sure when. I'll try to update tomorrow

Do either of you two play golf? I could probably find a spot for my clubs in the plane and maybe play a round Monday morning? I'm not very good, but I still have fun!

Well we didn't hear from you and guess you had other plans. DH caught lotsa lobsters (cold water lobsters on the NJ shore are the same cold water lobsters as Maine lobsters)! And on top of it our good friend who is a NetJets CA called that he was on a Philly overnight. So, I picked him and his FO up at PNE and we've been having a great time with the mojitos and lobsters.

Sounds like I missed out on the fun again! We got to the hotel around 6 and I'm now just getting around to getting on here...sorry I didn't get on sooner! n57flyguy can't make it tomorrow, so not much of anything in planned, maybe a drive to the city.

We missed you! Too bad! It was a great time. Next time, it might be helpful to try PM'ing ahead of time to get contact info if you're interested in possibly getting a free meal!

Sorry I couldn't get up there this time, things were all over the place here. Let me know next time and we can work something out.
