I'm not gonna be able to make it. Finances are tapped out at this point.

However, I can help ya out Brian on the planning aspect if you need it. Universal has some pretty snazzy hotels on property, and you can pretty much roll out of bed an WALK to the theme park. Orlando is the land of hotels, and pretty much everyone and their brother has a shuttle to the theme parks either free or for a small fee.

Oh come on. Just cut some of the expenses. (i.e leave kids

Heh. After the O-Town withdrawal that's been going on around this house, if I left my wife and kid and went by myself I'd come home either to an empty house or bags that had been packed for me.

We won't know until we get the december schedule (around Nov 17th)....what weekend are you going for?

I know i'll be down in the area probably from the 19th - 27th as it is for the xmas holidays...

Ooooh. Xmas-New Year's week is the WORST time to hit the theme parks. It's the busiest time of the year for every one of them. I've actually seen them shut the gates to the Magic Kingdom during that week b/c they hit park capacity. Same with Islands of Adventure.

Not a weekend. I was aiming for December 4th and 5th (Tuesday and Wednesday) and/or perhaps the 6th. Those would be some of the best dates to ensure we don't just wait in line all day. If enough people have trouble making it (as it seems to be the case so far), I can always change the date to sometime early next year.

I apologize for the delayed responses and for letting this thread get buried with the others ones. After compiling all the responses from the PMs I sent out it seems like we don't have enough people to hold the event. I will also be starting a new job right after Thanksgiving and will likely not be able to attend. We can either postpone the event or the people who are able to attend can take charge. If you plan on attending, please send me a PM and I can send you the list (About 2 people are pretty sure and 4 are a maybe).

Looks like we are taking our (almost) 3 yr old to Magic Kingdom on the 10th. We'll be in Downtown Disney the 9th and staying nearby. Sorry the group meet won't happen; it's very tough to get schedules together, that's for sure.
