has anyone else reserved a table before (besides Windycitypilot) that can give advice on how to reserve the best table and how much we really need to purchase and/or what the minimum peeps are? i think it's 10 but not really sure... does that mean i have to purchase food enough for 10 people?

Kristie check your PM's sent you what I know. I've never actually reserved a table before....we thought about it but didn't want to be tied down to a certain tent on a certain date and time. With that much beer flowing we never know where we'll end up. :-)

Yeah there are more times than I care to remember where we said we were going to this tent at this time and never even came close to that due to meeting some cool people from some random country around the world or because some other tent was just so much fun.

Plus most of the reservations don't start until 4 or 5PM...by that time you have been drinking for awhile.

Tents also vary day to do depending on the crowd that shows up. Some of the best memories I have of Volksfest have been in the Schwaben Tent...and some of worst times have been in that tent as well.

Sitting at reserved tables you also tend to meet more Germans than anyone else....while sitting in normal seating you usually get a more diverse group of people. It's still all fun times anywhere you sit.

I think Kristie and I were saying "Where the hell did Doug-E Fresh go!?!?" 2 hours later when we found him we had our answer. I think there was a video up of one of us saying that. Good times!!
