Default River Trip

Anyone? I have no idea if anyone boats around here, but I do! Summers coming around the corner and that means its time to hit the water.

I’ve never done the M&G thing, but hey if there is someone out here willing to meet up on a river/back country im in.

Could be anything from a day trip to overnight+, I’ve got a 16’ raft that carries all the goodies for the long haul.

Yes? No? Maybe? I’m crazy?

Not crazy at all, which rivers you thinking about? We do have the Colorado in our collective back yard.

Pretty much anything in Utah. I just got back last week from the Green...

Initially my thoughts is the San Juan would be ideal. The Colorado has some great day sections too... dont know what the fishing is like on them, but we've caught some on the Green before.

Permits would play into the longer trips, but generally you can find open days here and there.

I'm not worried about the fishing, thats work to me. I have heard good things about rafting on the Green. I'm down for wherever though.

Parts of the Green are alot of fun. There is an unpermitted stretch just north of Green River, Utah. Only about 8 miles though and some small rapids.

Do you have a boat?

No boat, and the only kind I could probably get my hands on would be a drift boat, probably not the best for rapids.

Last night I had a dream that I ran a grizzly stretch of river in this...
